Google Calendar helps you stay organized and on top of important events, including your friends and family members' birthdays. With seamless integration with Google Contacts, adding birthdays to your calendar is a breeze.

In this guide, we'll walk you through two methods to add, remove, and hide birthdays on Google Calendar.

Using Google Contacts

Google Contacts offers a quick and easy way to add birthdays to your calendar.

Adding birthdays on mobile:

  1. Open Google Contacts.
  2. Select a contact.
  3. Tap Edit (pencil icon).
  4. Add significant date.
  5. Enter birthday and select 'Birthday.'
  6. Tap Save.

Showing birthdays on mobile:

  1. Open Google Calendar.
  2. Tap the hamburger button (three lines).
  3. Scroll down and select Birthdays.
  4. Adding birthdays on the desktop:
  5. Visit the Google Contacts website.
  6. Edit contact.
  7. Enter birthday next to the birthday cake icon.
  8. Click Save.

Showing birthdays on Desktop:

  1. Visit the Google Calendar website.
  2. Select the checkbox next to Birthdays.

Creating custom event

Removing and hiding birthdays:
