Eve, formerly a smart home brand, is leveraging Matter to release a new version of its “Smart Weather Station” which will be capable of displaying the current temperature and other data within the Google Home app.
What is Eve Smart Weather Station?
Eve Smart Weather Station is an upgraded version of the formerly HomeKit-only product. The device is designed to be placed outside of your home where it can collect up-to-date details on the current temperature, humidity, home and air pressure.
Moreover, it can even use that data to predict local weather conditions over the next 12 hours, which only works through the Eve app, but still, it is not available for Android. The users can add the Eve Smart Weather Station to the Google Home app.

The Eve Smart Weather Station can connect to your Google Home setup and pump information regarding the temperature into your smart home.
The Eve Station can be utilised as a trigger for certain types of smart home automation in the Home app, like adjusting the AC, closing blinds, and more.
The Eve Smart Weather Station comes out of the box with support for Matter, but the HomeKit version is to be updated with Matter support.
Currently, the device is available for purchase through Eve’s website and Amazon for $79.95. The HomeKit model is fairly easy to find on sale now, as long as you don’t mind waiting for the Matter update to launch. However, Eve hasn’t specified when they will start the unveiling.
