Stellar Blade Patch 1.009 has introduced a newly added photo mode which allows users to capture in-game moments and includes a paid crossover with Nier: Automata. Finally something most-awaited on the display.
The paid downloadable content (DLC) is only for $10. It has added Neir-themed cosmetics items, including:
- Four outfits for Eve.
- Cosmetics for Drone, Adam, and Lily.
- Three hairstyles and a blindfold for Eve.
These items are available for purchase through email, alongside a new Nier character that has been added to Steller Blade. Fortunately, no content narrative was dragged which retarded players who were eager to a Nier-inspired quest.
Stellar Blade camera feature
If players attempt to take any inappropriate picture of Eve during the crossover, it will trigger Eve to kick the camera away which will cause the camera to shake and the picture will be blurred.
This humorous detail is a reference to Kaine from Nier: Replicant, which reacted similarly wherein players kept on repeating the same mischievous act and then earned the "Daredevil" trophy.
Moreover, It mirrors Nier: Automata’s 2B, which causes it to gently move the camera if players linger in improper areas. This update highlights a fun blend of service to solidify the character's connection with players.
The developers intend to expand the Stellar Blade with its upcoming PC release. The news has stirred euphoria and anticipation among fans about the potential mods from the PC version of the game as it closes in on its release next year.
