Lava is gearing up to launch a new smartphone in India soon, although the exact name of the device has yet to be officially confirmed. However, recent indications suggest that it might be called the Blaze Curve 5G.

Additionally, a well-known tipster has shared some key insights into the upcoming handset, including its expected launch timeline and notable features. Notably, Lava previously introduced the Lava Blaze 2 5G in India back in November 2023, which boasted a MediaTek Dimensity 6020 SoC and a 50-megapixel dual rear camera setup.

According to Gadgets360, the company teased its upcoming smartphone in a post on X (formerly Twitter) that is likely to feature a curved display. Although the teaser did not offer specific details or hints about the phone's features, it did mention the term "Curve" and indicated that the device would support 5G connectivity.

Meanwhile, tipster Mukul Sharma (@stufflistings) suggested that the teased model is likely to be the Lava Blaze Curve 5G, and shared images of the handset. The device appeared in an attractive shiny sea green color and showcased a triple rear camera module along with an LED flash. While the front view of the phone was not revealed, the back panel prominently featured the "Lava" branding alongside the "5G" label.

Sharma further indicated that the Lava Blaze Curve 5G is expected to debut in India during the first week of March. The device is rumoured to sport a 120Hz curved AMOLED display and a primary Sony sensor with 64-megapixel resolution. Notably, Lava President Sunil Raina recently teased the handset as well.

The most recent Lava Blaze smartphone to hit the Indian market was the Lava Blaze 2 5G, priced at INR 9,999 for the 4GB + 64GB variant. It was available in colours like Glass Black, Glass Blue, and Glass Lavender. Featuring a MediaTek Dimensity 6020 SoC, a 5,000mAh battery with 18W charging support, a 6.56-inch HD+ screen, and a 50-megapixel dual rear camera setup, the device garnered attention upon its release.
