Get ready for Samsung's much-anticipated Galaxy Unpacked event set to kick off early next year, and all eyes are on the star of the show — the Galaxy S24 Ultra, the next flagship in the renowned Galaxy S series. Leaks have been flooding the internet, giving us a sneak peek into what could be a game-changing device.
Courtesy of the prolific tipster Ice Universe (@UniverseIce) on X (formerly Twitter), leaked renders of the Galaxy S24 Ultra have emerged, offering a tantalising glimpse into its potential design. Brace yourself for slimmer bezels, a hallmark of Samsung's commitment to sleek aesthetics. The handset, presented in a chic black shade, boasts a centred hole-punch cutout at the top of the display, maintaining the distinguished look we've come to associate with Samsung's Ultra series.
After having examined the leaked visuals, we think the Galaxy S24 Ultra seems to follow in the footsteps of its predecessors, the Galaxy S23 Ultra and Galaxy S22 Ultra.
Notable features include thin and symmetrical bezels on the display, albeit with a reduction in curved edges. The rear showcases a sophisticated quad-camera setup, with each lens making a distinct impression on the flat back. A flush-mounted LED flash adds to the elegance, while the power and volume buttons find their place on the left side, emphasising Samsung's commitment to user-friendly design.
The Galaxy S24 series, set to make its grand entrance on January 17 in San Francisco, promises a powerhouse of performance.
According to recent leaks, the smartphones will be fueled by the formidable "Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC for Galaxy," ensuring a seamless and cutting-edge experience. For those opting for the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+, the possibility of Exynos powering select global markets adds an interesting twist. Samsung is also rumoured to elevate the premium feel of the Galaxy S24 Ultra by incorporating titanium frames, a departure from the aluminium chassis seen in previous models.
Diving into the specifications, the Galaxy S24 Ultra is expected to be available in two configurations: 12GB RAM + 256GB storage and 8GB RAM + 128GB storage.
As we eagerly approach 2024, anticipation mounts, with the promise of more details about the handset surfacing online in the coming weeks. Stay tuned for what could be a defining chapter in Samsung's Galaxy series saga.
