Lenovo Legion Go S unveiled with Legion Go 2 Prototype at CES 2025

Lenovo officially launched the Legion Go S handheld gaming console at CES 2025, alongside the reveal of the Legion Go 2 prototype. The Legion Go S is available in two variants—Windows 11 and SteamOS—and is equipped with AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme processors. 

It offers configurations with up to 32GB of RAM and 1TB of SSD storage, designed to deliver an enhanced gaming experience. The Legion Go 2 prototype, with a larger display and upgraded features, is expected to launch later this year.

Lenovo Legion Go S specifications

The Legion Go S features an 8-inch WQXGA (1920×1200 pixels) LCD with a 120Hz refresh rate and 500 nits of peak brightness. It is powered by AMD Ryzen Z2 Extreme processors, paired with up to 32GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 1TB of expandable SSD storage.

Moreover, connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, two USB 4 ports, and a 3.5mm audio jack. The device is equipped with a 55.5Wh battery that supports 65W fast charging. It measures 299×127.55×22.6 mm and weighs 740g.

Lenovo Legion Go 2 Prototype

The Legion Go 2 prototype features an 8.8-inch WUXGA OLED screen with a 144Hz refresh rate. It is powered by AMD Ryzen Z2 processors paired with 32GB of RAM. The device includes a 74Wh battery that also supports 65W fast charging.

Price and availability

The Legion Go S (Windows) starts at $729.99 and is available this month. Additional configurations, starting at $599.99, will launch in May. The SteamOS variant starts at $499.99 and will also be available in May. Lenovo has not yet disclosed pricing or availability for the Legion Go 2.
