Lenovo, a Chinese tech giant, released its new iPad — Lenovo Xiaoxin Pad Pro 12.7 in China. The Lenovo Xiaoxin Pad Pro 12.7 is also available in a Comfort Edition variant that provides a smoother, paper-like texture on the display and low-latency stylus support.

Lenovo Xiaoxin Pad Pro 12.7 in China is available at CNY 2,099 (approx. INR 24,200) for the primary model with 8GB RAM with 128GB storage option, while the 8GB RAM with 256GB storage and 12GB RAM with 256GB storage variants are available at CNY 2,199 (approx. INR 25,400) and 2,499 (approx. INR 28,900).

Meanwhile, the Xiaoxin Pad Pro 12.7 Comfort Edition is offered in two variants — 8GB RAM with 128GB storage space is priced at CNY 2,399 (approx. INR 27,700), and 8GB RAM with 256GB storage option is priced at CNY 2,599 (approx. INR 30,000).

However, Lenovo has not yet revealed a 12GB RAM configuration for the select variant. Both versions of the Lenovo Xiaoxin Pad Pro 12.7 are offered for purchase through Lenovo’s official site and JD.com, while the company has not yet revealed the tablet's launch in markets outside of China.

The Lenovo Xiaoxin Pad Pro 12.7 version runs on Android 14 with the company’s ZUI 16 skin on top. The tablet boasts a MediaTek Dimensity 8300 chipset with up to 256GB of LPDDR5x RAM. The Lenovo Xiaoxin Pad Pro 12.7 houses a 12.7-inch 2.9K display with a 144Hz refresh rate, and Dolby Vision support.

Meanwhile, the display on the Comfort Edition variant has a paper-like finish and is said to be geared at people who need to use tablets for reading purposes.

The tablet seems to have a rear camera, but Lenovo has not unveiled its specifications on its site or its online store. Additional features include Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity and a USB Type-C port for charging and data transfers. The device is featured with a quad-speaker setup adapted by JBL.

Lenovo has boasted the Xiaoxin Pad Pro 12.7 with a 10,200mAh battery and the tablet offers support for fast charging at 45W. In addition, the Lenovo Xiaoxin Pad Pro 12.7 can be used with a stylus, but the Comfort Edition sports a 9.6ms low latency mode that unfolds to be aimed at users who need to use the device as a notepad.
