Big news for sports fans who love Threads! No more switching apps to catch the score during the game. Threads is adding live scores, starting with the NBA. CEO Mark Zuckerberg himself announced it on Friday, hinting at including other leagues soon.

Zuckerberg said: “[Threads] would be starting with NBA scores and has plans to add other leagues soon”.

Imagine this: you're scrolling through Threads and suddenly remember the game. Just search for your team, and boom! There's the score right there, keeping you in the loop. No need to jump between apps anymore. Even if you miss the game live, searching the team will show you the final score. Pretty neat?

As per details of the upcoming feature, it will also let you know when a game is happening, if you search before it starts.

Similar to the feature available on Google and X, logos of the teams will be displayed along with the score. When you will tap on the team’s logo it will take you to a feed showing recent discussions about that team.
