Alphabet-owned Google unveiled the flagship model Pixel Watch 3 at Made by Google event, aside from its latest colours, its design is considered as a rehashed version of its predecessors Pixel Watch 2.
However, it is now available with enlarged options of 41mm and 45mm, provides artificial-intelligence (AI) powered run recommendations, and consist a plethora of intriguing options such as 40% more display and 35% more battery, enhanced brightness, and more.
Pixel Watch 3 sensors are quite similar to its predecessor, but the addition of ultra wideband distinguishes it from Pixel Watch 2, even allowing users to easily unlock their phone with the assistance of a particular BMW model.

Display and brightness
Coming to its bezels, they are 16% thinner, and now become 10% more apparent on the 41mm and 40% more on the 45mm, along with a brand new extra display with 2000 nits brightness, twice than before.
Senior director of product management for Pixel wearables, Sandeep Waraich said “We are deeply committed in this space,” “It is by far our biggest leap, probably bigger than even introducing the first generation [Pixel Watch].”
Loss of pulse detection
Google has now sharpened its features by integrating top-notch features in order to catch wellness and efficiently detect irregularities in heart rate. It is made through machine learning and relies on a few sensors that accurately catch rare but extremely serious health events, which can happen to anyone.
Additionally, it won’t only detect the emergency, but automatically makes a call to emergency and helps in dealing with the most critical moments.
Call Assist and Fitbit fitness tracker
Furthermore, Pixel "Call Assist" improves with the addition of ‘Hold a Minute,’ which allows you to answer and hold a call at your convenience. It also integrated with Fitbit fitness trackers to effectively create personalised exercises.
It include intervals to receive real-time coaching while you run and highly accurate heart rate tracking with continuous samples throughout the day and night, and offers advanced health and fitness insights.
Moreover, It balances your intensity when your body needs recovery, and introduces three new tools:
- Readiness
- Cardio-load
- Daily target load which combines readiness and cardio-load
