Apple is reportedly planning to launch a redesigned version of its popular Magic Mouse, expected to be called the Magic Mouse 3, in 2026. This follows the recent update to Apple’s trio of Mac accessories—Magic Keyboard, Magic Trackpad, and Magic Mouse—to USB-C versions.

A credible Korean tipster, yeux1122, shared information about the upcoming redesign. Earlier, Mark Gurman revealed that Apple is gearing up to bring a significant redesign to the Magic Mouse. Gurman noted that Apple’s designers were “looking to create something that’s more relevant, while also addressing long-standing complaints.”

However, yeux1122 did not provided any specific details about the expected features of the Magic Mouse 3, aside from the launch timing. The tipster suggested the product would be released in 2026, coinciding with the launch of the OLED MacBook Pro.

Gurman had also hinted at the Magic Mouse 3’s launch and stated "Apple’s design team has been prototyping versions of the accessory in recent months. The goal is to create something that better fits the modern computing era, which is increasingly driven by touchscreens, voice commands, and hand gestures."

It is now clear that Apple is not planning to integrate voice control functionality into the Magic Mouse 3. However, users are expecting a design that accommodates modern input methods like touchscreens, voice control, and gestures, aiming to enhance productivity and usability in an era of advanced computing.
