Massive discount on Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 at Costco

In a surprising turn of events, a gamer discovered a massive discount on Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 at their local Costco. The latest entry in Activision's popular series of military shooters can be picked up for as low as $20.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 launched to mostly positive reviews on October 25. Notably, many games have received steep discounts recently due to holiday sales.

Xbox games on discount

Xbox's ongoing 2024 Countdown Sale significantly reduced the prices of some of the year's biggest releases, including Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, Dragon's Dogma 2, and Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.

However, the PS5 version of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 can be obtained for an even lower price at Costco.

In a recent Reddit post, user argothewise pointed out that a Costco branch in Florida has been selling PS5 copies of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 for just $19.97 each.

An Xbox version was also available at the Winter Park warehouse, but its price was not mentioned. The standard edition of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 usually sells for $69.97 on Sony and Microsoft’s online stores.

Its lowest recorded US price on Steam was $52.49, according to SteamDB.

However, other retailers have also offered Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 at heavily discounted prices. A past GameStop deal halved the price to $34.99, with additional savings for members of the company's paid rewards program.

Despite these discounts, Activision's long-running shooter franchise seems to be struggling to maintain its player base, especially on PC.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 game updates and events

The first season of Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 added new multiplayer maps, weapons, and skins to the game. It also introduced a new Zombies map, Citadelle des Morts, and brought back the Christmas-themed CODMAS event. 

The latter half of Season 1, Reloaded, is expected to wrap up on January 28, 2025.
