Meta is set to host its annual conference — Meta Connect 2024 on September 25, 2024 (Wednesday) at 10am PT, with a keynote from the company’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Mark Zuckerberg.
The developer event is set to focus on Meta’s XR (VR and AR) platforms, the metaverse, and the Facebook parent’s open-source generative artificial intelligence (AI) platform, Llama.
Moreover, some new hardware, including the Meta Quest 4, updates to the Meta Ray-Bans, and a glimpse at the new “Orion” AR headset could get some time in the California sunshine.

Meta is set to stream its conference through the developer's Facebook page. If you want to feel like you’re in Menlo Park from the comfort of your living room, you can also access the keynote through Horizon Worlds using your Meta Quest headset.
In addition, Meta is confirmed to host — Meta Connect 2024 — through YouTube. However, the official live link has not been unveiled by the company.
Further developer panels will also be available through YouTube and Facebook, as the Meta Connect 2024 runs through Thursday.
