Meta's annual developers conference is the biggest VR, AR, and AI-related event of the near future, promising a lot of exciting announcements and reveals. The event is scheduled for September 25-26, 2024.

Meta Connect 2024 expected announcements
Meta's Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) ambitions are expected to take centre stage. Rumoured announcements include:
- A successor of Meta Quest 3 may be announced for $299.99
- Preliminary statements on updates for Meta and Ray-Ban smart glasses
- A showcase for the future "Orion" AR glasses
- New mixed reality experiences and software

Meta's Ray-Ban smart glasses
The Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses are on version two; perhaps, the AI-powered chatbot assistant in these smart glasses would have an update as well. To recap, Meta's VR strategy would be demonstrated, and what games would look like in the future on Quest.
Meta's large language model (LLM)
Meta's LLM, an incredibly large language model and image generator, would probably feature most in the conference. WhatsApp would probably show generative AI experiences in applications.
