Microsoft has introduced a new AI-powered chatbot called “Support Virtual Agent” to help Xbox users solve their support-related gaming issues more efficiently.
The reports of Microsoft developing an AI chatbot aimed at providing support for its Xbox users came out earlier this year. The tech giant is expanding its AI focus beyond developer tools with the launch of this chatbot.

“We value the feedback from Xbox Insiders for this preview experience and any feedback received will be used to improve the Support Virtual Agent,” stated Xbox senior product manager lead, Megha Dudani.
The Xbox chatbot is being rolled out to select Xbox Insiders in the US.
Users with English selected as their preferred language can begin previewing the Support Virtual Agent, the company stated.
How to use Support Virtual Agent?
The AI chatbot "Support Virtual Agent" is available on the “Contact Us” page on the Xbox support page. Users can sign in with the same account they have registered for the Xbox Insider Program.
By clicking on “Ask a question,” users will see the Support Virtual Agent launch in a new browser window. However, if the Support Virtual Agent fails to resolve the issue, users can also request to speak with a live support agent.
