Microsoft on Thursday, unveiled that Outlook has received a new feature, allowing users to use generative artificial intelligence (AI) to create themes based on their personal choice.

Notably, AI-powered themes are offered to people who have a Copilot Pro-consumer subscription and business accounts with Copilot enabled, along with available on iOS, Android, Windows, Mac, and the web.

You can create a theme inspired by more than 100 locations or make a theme based on your own location. Once you generate a theme, you can select to view it in a realistic, oil painting, or cartoon style.

In a blog post, Microsoft stated: "If you’ve enabled location permissions in Outlook, the My Location theme will bring you imagery uniquely inspired by your locale, dynamically updating for you as you head out the door on a trip or vacation.”

“Similarly, a dynamic theme based on the weather would be updated to reflect the current weather conditions where you are,” the company added.

The company confirmed the new addition will let people personalise the email service just as they would spruce up their desks with artwork or candles. However, the new AI capability doesn’t provide additional functionality, it offers a fun way to personalise your email app.
