The company says that users can forward messages by just clicking on the forward button located in the right-click menu. Moreover, the sender can also add additional notes with the forwarded message to provide more context to the recipient.

Even if a message is sent in a private direct message, users can use their discretion to share notes with colleagues who may benefit from reading the private message.

The feature is currently being rolled out to users of the Microsoft Teams desktop application on Windows. This improvement is part of a bigger series of updates to make Microsoft Teams a more advanced and user-friendly communication platform.

The recently introduced feature in Microsoft Teams is the same as that of Slack's forward message functionality, a widely used communication platform in the workplace, enabling users to easily forward information without manually copying and pasting text from original messages.
