Mobilink Bank has launched an easy-to-use "Inheritance Calculator" which is specifically designed for women. The calculator has been incorporated as an in-app tool inside its existing software application.
The bank is Pakistan’s leading microfinance bank with over 42 million registered users and has been striving to enhance user experience.
The tool aims to provide women with clear insights into their financial share, promoting social justice for them in society.
The inheritance calculator has been made accessible for users through Mobilink’s Dost app which provides a complete hassle-free digital banking ecosystem.

With this initiative, Mobilink Bank would counter the traditional injustice in inheritance distribution that has persisted in society for years.
To calculate an individual’s inheritance share, users need to provide details about the family tree, including the property owner, his heirs, and their relation with the person who owns the property.
By having access to financial information, the app has simplified the complex process of determining women’s share in their ancestor’s property.
Mobilink Bank Interim CEO Haaris Mahmood Chaudhary said: “We believe that every individual has the right to financial independence and security and therefore, through this inheritance calculator, we are committed to giving a voice to the women who lack the knowledge to understand their inheritance share and are often denied of it."
