Motorola has finally disclosed the launch schedule of its Motorola Edge 50 Fusion. Announcing in an X (formerly Twitter) post, the company said that the game-changing handset will be launched in India on May 8 (Wednesday).
Besides the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra and Motorola Edge 50 Pro, the top-notch variant (Motorola Edge 50 Fusion) of the Motorola Edge 50 series was exclusively rolled out in select countries including Europe.

The Indian launch of the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion is slated to adorn the tapestry of top-tier smartphones in India on May 16 at 12:00pm IST. with the company beckoning enthusiasts by frequently flooding its official X handle with teasers regarding the launch. According to the webpage, the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion will be offered in Forest Blue, Hot Pink, and Marshmallow Blue colour variants while offering up to 12GB of base storage capacity, according to Gadgets360.
Expected to be equipped with Android 14-based Hello UI, it will feature a 6.7-inch curved OLED display enhanced by a 144Hz refresh rate, 1,600 nits of peak brightness, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It will also offer an in-display fingerprint sensor.
Though these details entirely base on a rumour, the smartphone is confirmed to be powered by Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC. Moving to the camera section, it packs a dual rear camera setup that brings a 50MP primary rear sensor and a 13MP ultrawide macro shooter. On the back of it, a 32MP selfie shooter awaits photophiles.
To ensure smoother connectivity and prevent being off the grid, the Indian variant of the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion has also been tipped to support 15 5G bands and Wi-Fi 6, backed by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 68W fast charging to keep you powered for two full days.

Motorola has not yet disclosed the pricing for the Motorola Edge 50 Fusion in India. However, what gives us a tiny clue is that the device was launched in Europe at an starting price of EUR 399, which is approximately INR 36,000.
