The Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2024 has arrived at the doorstep, with a casket spilling with jewels morphed as mobile phones, gadgets or electronic items.

OnePlus is all set to reveal its much awaited OnePlus Watch 2 at the MWC 2024 a couple of hours later, an iteration to its preceding model OnePlus Watch.

What's surprising is that some key specifications and the expected price range have surfaced online just ahead of the disclosure, providing with the tentalising glimpse of what the game-changing wearable could be equipped with.

The online-emerged rumours are hinting at the departure from the square design that was featured in the previous generation OnePlus Watch, claiming that the upcoming variant will be based on circular design on the front.
As per the details tipped earlier, the gadget might bring a 1.43-inch AMOLED display coupled with a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels, with the display protected with IP68 dust and water protection.
OnePlus Watch 2 specifications
Probably running by Google's WearOS, the smartwatch is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 chipset with support for 1GB of RAM.
Alongside a heaping battery of 402 mAh that supports 10W charging, OnePlus Watch 2 has been installed with a pack of frequently used connectivity options such as Bluetooth 2.4Ghz/2Ghz, Wi-Fi and GPS.
Whatsoever, regardless of these teased insights being accurate or not, what we'll definite about the wearable is that it will be available in two colour options: Black Steel and Radiant Steel, as this has been confirmed by the company. OnePlus has also assured that the OnePlus Watch 2 will feature a stainless steel case and sapphire crystal watch face, and on top of it, will deliver a substantial 100 hours of battery life in Smart mode.

As per a tipster Ishan, cited by Livemint, the starting price for the Indian variant of the OnePlus Watch 2 will be INR24,999, and the starting price for the US model will be $299. Moreover, the tipster claimed that the UK version will start at £299 and the EU version will €329.
