Xiaomi introduced its latest lineup of smart wearables, including the Xiaomi Watch 2, Xiaomi Watch S3, and Xiaomi Smart Band 8 Pro, at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2024 in Barcelona on February 25. These devices will soon be available in certain markets in Europe.
The prices have already been confirmed by the company. However, it remains uncertain whether these models will launch in India. All three devices come with interchangeable straps, allowing users to personalise their appearance.
Xiaomi Watch 2 specifications
Xiaomi Watch 2 features a 1.43-inch AMOLED screen with up to 600nits brightness and runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon W5+ Gen 1 SoC with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. It operates on Google's Wear OS and includes a 495mAh battery providing up to 65 hours of usage. Notably, it offers a camera remote function allowing users to preview their smartphone's viewfinder directly on the watch display.
Xiaomi Watch S3 specifications
Xiaomi Watch S3 sports a 1.43-inch AMOLED screen and runs on Xiaomi's new HyperOS. It supports Bluetooth calling and includes various health and fitness trackers. Its standout feature is the ability to interchange bezels, with options available in four different colours. The watch houses a 486mAh battery offering up to 15 days of battery life.
Xiaomi Smart Band 8 Pro specifications
Xiaomi Smart Band 8 Pro features a 1.74-inch AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection and a 60Hz refresh rate. It boasts a 289mAh battery providing up to 14 days of usage and supports GNSS and Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity.
The fitness tracker offers compatibility with Android 8.0 or iOS 12.0 and above, along with over 200 watch faces and 150 sports modes. It also includes essential health trackers like heart rate, blood oxygen, sleep monitoring, and menstruation tracking.
Xiaomi Watch 2, Watch S3, Smart Band 8 Pro price
According to Gadgets360, the Xiaomi Watch 2 and Smart Band 8 Pro start at EUR 199 (approximately INR 17,850) and EUR 69 (approximately INR 6,200), respectively, and come with interchangeable straps.
The Xiaomi Watch S3, starting at EUR 149 (approximately INR 13,400), offers interchangeable straps and bezels. These models have begun rolling out in some European markets and will expand to other regions soon.
