Motorola, the American multinational telecommunications company, seems to have missed potential edges to standout and compete with the top mobile manufacturing brands.
But now it appears that once-a-renowned-mobile-maker is regaining the baton by disclosing the infuse of Corning Gorilla Glass across all of its upcoming smartphones at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) starting today.
You must be aware of so much which is brewing beside the MWC, yet, the Chicago-based company has already taken over the gazes of display-centric aficionados.

What is Corning Gorilla Glass?
The Gorilla Glass has long been the trendy and in-demand type of display-protecting constituent in the modern-day smartphone. The glass is chemically strengthened to stand firm against damage and scratches on the screen.
However, this sort of glass is mostly infused on the high-range mobile phone. Given that, the second most-sought kind of glass is Dragontail, which is found on the mid-range smartphones.
For all of its smartphones coming this year, Motorola has signed a deal to use the Corning Gorilla Glass. While the company did not specify the types of Gorilla Glass it aims to use, the two types demoed during a presser at MWC are Gorilla Glass 5 and Gorilla Glass Victus 2.
"At Motorola, we’re dedicated to delivering cutting-edge technology, and ensuring it is accessible across all franchises. Today, to further our commitment to durability, we’re excited to announce that the entire 2024 portfolio of Motorola devices will feature Corning Gorilla Glass, starting in the second half of this year," Motorola said during the presser.
Since Motorola's top-tier smartphones are already equipped with Gorilla Glass, its adoption will not bring any considerable change to them. On the other hand, using Gorilla Glass on low-tier smartphones will surely augment their resistance against drops and scratches.
Motorola announced Smart Connect at MWC 2024
Motorola also announced Smart Connect at MWC 2024. Smart Connect is a software which build a connection of Motorola and Lenovo devices with Lenovo PCs. It can use a PC's keyboard across both devices, sync notifications, sync the clipboard, and use a phone or tablet as a webcam or hotspot.
