National Australia Bank (NAB) internet banking reportedly underwent an unidentified, massive outage on Thursday.
Is NAB down?
To bring to light the disrupted banking services, thousands of NAB customers took to social media platforms, reporting issues with internet and mobile services.
The disruption in NAB's banking system is the second so far this year.
According to the outage-detecting website Downdetector, reports of NAB's unfunctional or sluggish banking services skyrocketed around 4pm (AEST) on Thursday.
According to the data displayed by the outage detecting platform, over 1900 complaints were lodged within 30 minutes (at 4 pm AEST) of the blackout's commencement.
Taking notice of the problem faced by customers, NAB also took to social media to acknowledge the issues and assure customers that it was working to reinstate its banking service.
"We're aware of an issue currently impacting our mobile app and desktop banking. We're sorry for any inconvenience this is causing our customers" NAB stated.
It should be noted that reports are also circulating on the internet that NAB's internet banking services have been restored.
