King Arthur: Legion IX is a turn-based, character-centric, stand-alone tactical RPG in the King Arthur: Knight's Tale universe — a dark fantasy version of the Arthurian myth.
King Arthur: Legion IX invites new players to the magical kingdom of Avalon with an all-new story and heroes, while returning veterans face enormous difficulties. NeocoreGames has announced that King Arthur: Legion IX will officially hit the market on May 9 for PC (Stream).
Whereas, this title was originally explained as an ”expansion” to the 2022 tactical RPG King Arthur: Knight's Tale.

King Arthur: Legion IX features
A role-playing tactical adventure: Players can experience a unique hybrid between turn-based tactical games and traditional, character-centric RPGs. Moreover, the player can manage and control a party of 5-6 heroes to discover and conquer the land of Avalon and can engage in intense tactical battles, difficult moral decisions, hero management, and the rebuilding of Nova Roma.
Prove a player's worth as a tactician: Player’s every little move and decision matters. Players can use covers, traps, flanking, and an in-depth overwatch and opportunity system and turn the entire battlefield to their advantage like a master tactician. The only difference between a successful or a failed quest may depend on the composition of the player’s party!
Heroes Straight from the Abyss: King Arthur: Legion IX features six unique heroes who have emerged from the Abyss to rule the magical kingdom of Avalon. Players can level up, earn skill points, unlock distinct skill trees, loot, equip, and build hundreds of artefacts to become the fiercest combat army to ever set foot on Avalon.
Wide variety of abilities: Players can use unique skills, ultimate skills, and world abilities to cover the difficult challenges during their quests in Avalon. They can risk and discover different tactical options as heroes don’t face permanent death at the end of the missions.
Not built in a day: Players can build and expand the city of Nova Roma, and make sure that their stronghold has the right facilities for the heroes that prepare for difficult quests.
Regain humanity: Player actions have significant consequences that affect both gameplay and narrative. Gaius will be converted into a demon or restored to humanity as a result of your deeds.
