Netflix has officially released the teaser for Squid Game Season 2, offering a thrilling glimpse into the next chapter of the South Korean sensation. The teaser debuted at Lucca Comics & Games, Europe’s largest Comic Con, sparking excitement and curiosity among fans eager to see how the gripping series will unfold.
What’s New in Squid Game Season 2?
The teaser hints at a striking transformation for Seong Gi-hun (played by Lee Jung-jae), shifting his character from survivor to avenger. Director Hwang Dong-hyuk shared exclusive insights on Netflix's Tudum, explaining that "Gi-hun's endeavour [will be] to find out who these people are and why they do what they do."
Following the traumatic experiences of Season 1, Gi-hun returns as a determined figure, set on exposing the sinister forces behind the games. The enigmatic Front Man (Lee Byung-hun) is also poised to return, intensifying the stakes with his cryptic presence.
