Nintendo Switch plans multiple remastered games in 2025: Reports

Nintendo is reportedly planning to launch multiple remastered titles through third-party publishers on the Switch throughout the next year, as the company’s internal development teams have directed their focus towards projects for the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2. 

Several reports suggested that the Nintendo consists of two in-house remasters already scheduled for 2025 including a GameCube title and one Nintendo 3DS game.

Moreover, the Nintendo Switch is reportedly contacting external publishers to develop Switch remasters. This progressive approach appears to be aimed at introducing a stand-out gaming lineup throughout 2025, ensuring that players who haven’t upgraded to the console’s successor, will still be able to access the latest and exciting games.

Further reports suggested Nintendo is approaching the players of the industry like Electronic Arts, Bandai Namco, and Ubisoft, which is likely to introduce the remastered version of Splinter Cell Blacklist,  Rayman 3, along with the first two Driver games. 

As for the highly anticipated Nintendo Switch 2, rumour mills are creating a buzz and the latest leak has hinted that it is expected to integrate cutting-edge features including ray tracing technology, Nvidia DLSS capabilities, and more. 

All the details regarding the Nintendo Switch getting multiple remastered games in 2025, and Nintendo Switch 2 are purely speculative and are yet to be confirmed by the company after the official announcement.
