Nothing CMF Phone 1 launched at $199 with unique design, removable multicoloured covers

Nothing, a not-so-prominent brand in the high-end smartphone industry, has stepped into the limelight with the release of the CMF Phone 1, an inaugural variant of the company's nascent series.

Propelling it as an entirely new lineup from, Nothing is said to have followed in the footsteps of its flagship smartphone series when it comes to the strategy.

Having debuted globally alongside the CMF Watch Pro 2 and CMF Buds Pro 2, the CMF Phone 1 is priced at INR 20,000 in India.

Set to be put on sale via Flipkart, the CMF Phone 1 can be bought at the moment for INR 14,999. The INR 1,000 slash is being extended as a limited, launch-time offer for select Indian bank cards.

Coming with 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of internal storage options, the Nothing CMF Phone 1 is priced in the Philippines between PHP 9,680 and PHP 12,276.

The device has been offered with a design Nothing never undertook before on a budget device, featuring a removable back cover which houses the mid-range MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset. 

Boasting a massive 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display complemented by a 120Hz refresh rate, its 2000nits of peak brightness makes the display hues more charming. Adding to the display appeal is a punch-hole display design, the preferred norm in the modern-day smartphone market.

The accessories compatible with the CMF Phone 1 are being sold separately by the company. This includes a lanyard, a stand, and a cardholder, all identically costing INR 799.

The removable back cover will be available in blue, black, orange and light green colour options, with each priced at INR 1,499. Moreover, a charger specifically designed for the CMF Phone 1 can also be bought at INR 799, which is an exclusive offer for buyers only.
