Nothing Phone 3a, 3a Plus tipped to feature zoom cameras

Nothing, the British consumer electronics manufacturer, is gearing up to release three new smartphones in 2025.

While fans eagerly await the Nothing Phone 3a, Phone 3a Plus, and CMF Phone 2, a recent leak suggests that the Nothing Phone 3a smartphones will be released with a notable upgrade compared to the previous models, and this upgrade includes dedicated zoom cameras for the first time.

According to leaks, the Nothing Phone 3a will likely feature a telephoto lens enabling high-quality zoomed-in shots with greater clarity. Meanwhile, the Nothing Phone 3a Plus is expected to sport a periscope zoom camera.

This rumoured upgrade would deliver enhanced optical zoom capabilities without compromising image quality.

If confirmed, the Nothing Phone 3a Plus would differentiate itself in the mid-range market by offering a premium feature typically reserved for high-end devices.

Alongside the upgraded cameras, both the Nothing Phone 3a series’ smartphones are anticipated to be powered by Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset, ensuring improved performance and efficiency.

Moreover, the handsets will have eSIM connectivity, which is another first for the brand. With eSIM support, users can expect flexibility in SIM options, with the ability to pair one physical SIM with an eSIM or use two physical SIMs.
