Nvidia’s Blackwell artificial intelligence (AI) chip series may purportedly face a delay of three months due to design flaws. The setback may affect significant tech companies such as Meta, Google, and Microsoft, which had situated major orders.
Earlier, the US-based AI chip major introduced its Blackwell chip series which will flourish its previous flagship AI chips.
Nvidia's response on delay
According to an Nvidia spokesperson, “As we’ve stated before, Hopper demand is very strong, broad Blackwell sampling has started, and production is on track to ramp in the second half.”

Nvidia under fire from US anti-trust regulators
Nvidia, the chip giant, is facing two separate investigations by the Department of Justice (DOJ) into potential anti-competitive practices.
Accusations integrate pressuring cloud service providers to purchase Nvidia products and charging higher prices for networking equipment to users using rival AI chips.
