With only a few days left in Ramadan, the Government of Sindh on Friday announced new timings for public offices.
According to a notification issued by the provincial government’s services, general, administration and coordination department, during the month of Ramadan, the government offices will remain open for five and six days a week as per their designated working days.
The timings in those offices which function five days a week would be from 10am to 4pm on Monday-Thursday and 10am to 1pm on Friday.
For offices which remain open six days a week will remain functional from 10am o 3pm on Monday-Thursday and Saturday; and 10am to 1pm on Friday.
"The [new] office timings will apply to all government offices, autonomous bodies, semi-autonomous bodies, corporations, and local councils under the administrative control of the government of Sindh, except essential services," it further stated.
