OnePlus is set to launch its new smartphone — the OnePlus 13 — in China. The handset is expected to be among the first to feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. Ahead of the highly anticipated launch, the company has unveiled detailed information about the smartphone's camera capabilities, showcasing a significant upgrade in photography features.

OnePlus 13 camera details

The OnePlus 13 features a triple-camera setup on the rear, with each sensor at 50MP. This includes a LYT-808 main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide camera with a 120-degree field of view, and a 50MP periscope lens.

Departing from its predecessor, the OnePlus 13 has replaced the previous periscope and ultra-wide sensors with new hardware focused on enhancing versatility and low-light performance.

OnePlus China President Li Jie Louis has confirmed that the periscope camera is a 3x zoom shooter with an f/2.6 aperture, optical image stabilisation, and a 1/1.95-inch sensor, providing high-resolution zoom and improved low-light capabilities.

The camera setup also integrates a range of advanced OPPO X8 features, including 4K/60fps Dolby Vision support on all lenses, high-quality Live Photos, and the ability to freeze fast-moving subjects without dedicated modes — ideal for capturing sharp images without shutter lag.

Additional leaked specifications include a Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, a 6,000mAh battery, 100W wired charging, 50W wireless charging, and IP68/IP69 water and dust resistance ratings. With the full reveal just days away, the OnePlus 13 is set to make a notable impact in the premium smartphone market.
