OnePlus 13, OnePlus 13R to launch globally on January 7

The wait is almost over as OnePlus is set to release its most anticipated flagship series, the OnePlus 13 series, on the global stage, including India, in the first week of 2025.

The upcoming launch will feature two devices: the standard OnePlus 13 and the rumoured OnePlus 13R, which will likely be a rebranded version of the OnePlus Ace 5, set to launch in China on December 26.

OnePlus 13 series launch date

The OnePlus 13 series will make its global debut on January 7, 2025, with the launch event titled “OnePlus' Winter Launch Event” livestream scheduled to begin at 9pm in India.

The OnePlus 13 base model will be available in Arctic Dawn, Black Eclipse, and Midnight Ocean colour options, offering support for various AI-based imaging and note-taking features.

OnePlus 13 specs

The OnePlus 13 standard model is expected to retain most of the same specifications as its Chinese counterpart launched back in October.

The handset is anticipated to sport a 6.82-inch Quad-HD+ LTPO AMOLED display and a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, paired with up to 24GB of RAM.

The OnePlus 13, backed by a 6,000mAh battery, is expected to feature 100W wired and 50W wireless charging support.

OnePlus 13 camera

In terms of camera capabilities, the global OnePlus 13 model is expected to sport a triple-camera setup, comprising a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP ultrawide shooter, and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom.

Moreover, the OnePlus 13’s front camera is rumoured to include a 32MP sensor.
