OnePlus Open gets OxygenOS 15 update in India

OnePlus has started to roll out the stable version of OxygenOS 15, its latest operating system update, for the OnePlus Open smartphone in India.

Based on Android 15, the update brings a host of new features, including artificial intelligence (AI) tools, visual enhancements, and other improved features across the user interface (UI).

What’s new in OxygenOS 15 update for OnePlus Open?

In a blog post, the tech giant detailed that after India, the OxygenOS 15 update will be available in North America, Europe, and other regions starting next week.

Flux Themes

The update introduces Flux Themes, which offer customisable one-take transition animations that can be personalised with system wallpapers or photos.

Customisation of home and lock screens

Users can customise their home and lock screens, and the always-on display, with various options, including clock colour blending, glass textures, AI depth effects, and blurred wallpapers.

Live Alerts feature

Moreover, OnePlus has updated its Live Alerts feature, which now brings a new design and animation system. Users can tap on an alert capsule to open a detailed card, making it easier to stay on top of notifications.

 AI writing suite

The company has introduced an AI writing suite that can help users polish and optimise their content. The update also includes AI tools such as “Clarity” for photo editing. Users can upscale cropped or low-resolution images with this feature.

AI Reflection Eraser

However, with AI Reflection Eraser, one can improve the sharpness, colour accuracy, and lighting in blurred images.

Furthermore, the update brings a new OnePlus Share app, which allows users to easily transfer files, including Live Photos, between OnePlus and iOS devices. The app is designed to make file sharing more convenient.
