OnePlus Watch 3 is expected to be released on January 7, 2025, coinciding with the launch of the OnePlus 13 in the global market alongside the OnePlus 13R.

The Internet has been buzzing with speculations about the forthcoming release, and recent claims suggested that the smartwatch is likely to feature a rotating crown, a new addition to its design.

Earlier reports also suggested the rumoured OnePlus Watch 3 prototype includes this rotating crown.

Moreover, some credible tipsters suggested that the OnePlus Watch 3 will be offered in two colour options and will feature a heart rate sensor and an electrocardiogram (ECG).

The inclusion of ECG functionality marks a key feature for fitness enthusiasts, as it is already available in several regions.

OnePlus Watch 3 specs (expected)

OnePlus Watch 3 is likely to be powered by the Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 SoC, paired with 2GB RAM, and 32GB storage configuration. It is likely to run on Watch OS 5 and RTOS, delivering a smooth and user-friendly experience.

Under the hood, the device will house a 500mAh battery and might as well boast LTE connectivity.

In June earlier this year, the OnePlus Watch received TENAA certification with a model code OPWW234, confirming its support for LTE connectivity.

Earlier this month, a new variant of the OnePlus Watch 3 with model code OPWWE251 got FCC certification suggesting that it could be powered by a larger 648 mAh battery.
