OpenAI board mulls to revive Sam Altman as CEO, leaks suggest

The ouster of the CEO of ChatGPT, Sam Altman, has sparked an outcry among the bigwigs in the sphere of AI technologies and tools.

The former CEO of OpenAI held talks with the board just a day after he was ousted. Meanwhile, Greg Brockman, OpenAI’s president and former board chairman, resigned only hours after the his surprisng expulsion, Reuters reported.

As per some other leaks making rounds on the internet, the heating escalation of the matter has made the OpenAI board to reconsider their decision of expelling the mastermind behind ChatGPT.

The two have reportedly been in talks with friends and investors in the company, that are loyal to them, regarding their possible venture of an AI startup.

Similarly, a bunch of some senior researchers also left the company free-falling on Friday, while further resignations farewells are in the process, people close to OpenAI revealed.

The development has emerged only two after his removal from the position of CEO took the world by storm, the realm of technology in particular.

The possible and expected return of the former ChatGPT CEO could justifiably be attributed to the investors in OpenAI, including their biggest ally, Microsoft, that seem anticipating to lose the key talent of the firm on a massive scale.

Following the removal of Sam Altman, Microsoft said in a statement that the company was committed to its partnership with the AI giant.

Being the representative of ChatGPT with a huge backing in the realm of AI, his removal has set the future of OpenAI into uncertainty amid testing times when competitors are engulfed to outclass one another.
