Oppo has confirmed the launch date of its new Find-series smartphone — Oppo Find X8 — sporting the newly launched MediaTek Dimensity 9400 SoC chipset.
The new MediaTek processor is introduced earlier today as a successor to the Dimensity 9300. The newly launched MediaTek chipset is developed on TSMC's second-generation 3nm fabrication process and has performance cores clocked at 3.62GHz.
Meanwhile, the Oppo Find X8 series is anticipated to include the vanilla Oppo Find X8 and Find X8 Ultra.
Oppo Find X8 series specifications
The MediaTek Dimensity 9400 SoC is built on TSMC's second-generation 3nm process, along with it has a performance core capped at 3.62GHz, alongside 3x Cortex-X4, and 4x Cortex-A720 cores.
It is important to note that Oppo has only discussed the Oppo Find X8 series, the lineup is claimed to include the base Find X8, and Find X8 Ultra, successors to the Oppo Find X7 and Find X7 Ultra.

According to earlier leaks, the Oppo Find X8 is claimed to house a 6.5-inch 1.5K screen produced by Beijing Oriental Electronics (BOE). It is said to sport a triple rear camera, comprising a 50MP Sony LYT-600 sensor. The Oppo Find X8 will boast a 5,700mAh battery supporting 80W wired and 50W wireless charging.
The Oppo Find X8 Ultra is hinted at to receive either a 6.7-inch or 6.8-inch micro-curved flat display.

The launch date of the Oppo Find X8 series is set to take place on October 24 in China, officially confirmed through the company’s Weibo account.
