To promptly address passenger complaints and suggestions, the Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA) has introduced a QR code-based complaint management system at Islamabad International Airport (IIAP).

Announced on Wednesday at the PAA Headquarters at the Jinnah International Airport, Karachi, the QR code system is part of a broader effort to enhance the airport’s feedback mechanism.

QR code complaint management system

The QR codes have been installed at key locations across Islamabad airport, offering travellers a convenient and user-friendly way to submit their complaints. The initiative aims to simplify the process of lodging complaints and suggestions.

“This system will allow us to address passenger concerns more efficiently, ensuring a smooth and pleasant experience at Islamabad International Airport,” a PAA spokesperson noted.

Passengers can choose from the options to file complaints or share suggestions, including the online portal i.e. https://islamabadairport.com.pk, where they can navigate to the “E-Complaint” tab and select “Lodge your complaint.

Another option is sending feedback via email to feedback.iiap@caapakistan.com.pk, while the third option involves manual submission through which a passenger can register complaints manually in the “Complaint Register” available at PAA counters at the airport.

The initiative has been appreciated by travellers, with the airport authority planning to implement similar systems across other airports in Pakistan.
