Changan unveiled its highly anticipated first electric vehicle (EV) — Changan Lumin — at the Pakistan Auto Show PAPS 2024.
While discussing the potential release of the upcoming EV in Pakistan, Changan top officials told PakWheels that it supports a “28kw battery with 300 kilometres/charge range and produces 83Nm of torque.”
Currently, there are no immediate plans for the launch of the upcoming Changan Lumin EV in Pakistan, as the automobile manufacturer will analyse the market, price and more and then it will launch the locally assembled units of the EV, but now the completely built units (CBU) unit is displayed, officials added.
However, the company hasn't officially revealed the details regarding its launch.

In reference, the Lumin Corn mini EV in China consists of two variants, equipped with a 35kW LFP battery from CATL, producing 48 horsepower with 210km while, the other car houses a 30kW LFP battery from Gotion Hightech, producing 41 horsepower with a range of up to 150km.

The automobile manufacturer shared an animation video revealing the Lumin Corn on its official social media channels that indicated a few details regarding the car’s interior and exterior. Moreover, it consists of two doors, four seats, circular LED lights, pop-out door handles, an infotainment screen, and more.

Changan Lumin EV is expected to be launched in Pakistan soon as the official launch date is not announced.
