A three-day event, Pakistan Auto Parts Show (PAPS) 2024, organised by the Pakistan Association of Automotive Parts and Accessories Manufacturers (PAAPAM), kicked off on Friday at Lahore Expo Centre.
PAPS 2024 started from October 25 to 27, and gathered around 150 exhibitors, including 44 international exhibitors, 51 PAAPAM members, 12 sponsors and 43 local exhibitors, who showcased the emerging technology in the automotive industry under the year’s theme, ‘Industrial Pakistan.’
Top officials including the State Finance Minister Ali Pervaiz Malik, Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry (LCCI) President Mian Abuzar Shad attended the inauguration ceremony, along with PAAPAM Chairman Usman Aslam Malik, and other top officials who visited the entire exhibition halls and communicated with the exhibitors showcasing advanced technologies to boost Pakistan’s automotive industry.

Following the tour, an opening ceremony was held in the convention centre, gathering industry leaders, stakeholders and international delegates to discuss the sector’s rapid development and its future potential.
PAPS 2024 emphasises the role of the automotive industry in boosting Pakistan’s economic growth, with displays from Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), local automotive manufacturers, and international companies. The event also offers an industrial visit programme, permitting the visitor to tour the OEM amenities and witness the manufacturing processes up close.
Furthermore, the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) president expressed his admiration for the event’s contribution to Pakistan’s industrial progress and said: “PAPS has been a critical force in driving innovation and growth in the automotive sector. By bringing together local manufacturers and international partners, this show continues to foster industrial development and strengthen Pakistan’s economy.”
PAAPAM Chairman shared his views about the event’s impact and said: “PAPS 2024 is a testament to the resilience and innovation of Pakistan’s auto industry. By bringing together original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), manufacturers and industry leaders under one roof, including our international partners we aim to foster collaboration, innovation, and sustainable growth for the future of automotive manufacturing in Pakistan.”
The show is continued for the next one day, and visitors are looking forward to great networking opportunities, great thought-provoking discussions, and more that celebrate the boost of the automotive industry in Pakistan.
