Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has announced a major fare reduction for flights between Karachi and two Saudi Arabian cities namely Madinah and Jeddah.
According to the PIA spokesperson, the national carrier confirmed that the national carrier has reduced fares by 30%, offering passengers a more budget-friendly service.
As per the new PIA fare structure, a one-way ticket from Karachi to Jeddah or Madinah is now priced at Rs56,000 inclusive of tax. However, a round-trip fare between Karachi and either of the two mentioned Saudi cities will now cost Rs88,000 with taxes included.

The spokesperson also confirmed that interested passengers can avail of these discounted rates of tickets for booking until August 31, 2024, and these promotional fares are applicable for travel until September 30, 2024.
The new discounted fares are effective immediately, providing PIA passengers an opportunity to benefit from significant savings on their journey and to enhance accessibility and convenience for passengers travelling between Karachi and the two Saudi cities.
Moreover, this fare reduction will especially benefit those heading to the holy cities for Umrah or other religious reasons.
