Google has leaked multiple times in recent months, sometimes in the form of retail box, sometimes in renders, and currently users can see another leak of the full specification sheet of the upcoming mid-range Pixel 8a.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), tipster @YogeshBrar shared the Pixel 8a specifications sheet, revealing all the specifications of the smartphone. It seems to be a nice surprise for those users who want to buy this upcoming handset.

The Pixel 8a appears to be a promising device for many users looking for a top-tier smartphone. Moreover, the price tag of $500 puts the device near the Galaxy A55 and maybe other handsets.

Pixel 8a specs (rumoured)

Google’s Pixel 8a will have a 6.1-inch FHD OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. The phone will feature Google’s third-generation Tensor G3 chipset. On the back, a dual camera setup can be spotted, having a 64MP main camera lens and a 13MP ultra-wide angle lens. On the front, there’s only one single camera, having a 13MP sensor for selfies.

The device will run on Android 14 out of the box, sporting a 4,500 mAh battery with 27W charging — a boost from the 18W charging offered in the older version. Moreover, tipster @YogeshBrar mentioned that the phone will launch in May, making sense as Google has scheduled I/O 2024, and also corresponds to the release of the Pixel 7a, which was also released in May 2023.

However, the Google Pixel 8a appears to be a mid-range device for users wishing to save money while getting a good pure Android experience.
