Google’s latest phones like the Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro and the Pixel 9 Pro XL offer various exclusive AI features. Among them, a notable new app called Pixel Studio is a useful and fun AI image-generating application.
Although the app can not compete with popular AI image generators like Midjourney, it is a free app available on latest Pixel flagships.
Being a fun tool to create AI art, especially for beginners, the AI application is available in a limited number of countries like the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, India, Ireland, Singapore, and Malaysia.

How to create AI image with Pixel Studio
This is a step by step guide for Pixel Studio's AI image generation process:
- Tap and switch on the Pixel Studio application
- Then download the AI image generation model
- Now to generate an image, the user must tap the bottom of the screen
- Then the keyboard will appear to describe the image you want to create and press the check mark, in inorder to input the user's request
- While inserting the word prompt the user must describe what it wants to generate clearly like a description of the Subject, Action (what is the subject doing), Environment (where the subject exists), and in what Style the user requires image output
- If the mage it has created and the user is not satisfied with the output, then press the lower left button to regenerate the image again.
- To change the art style, choose the style icon that is at the right of the regenerating icon
- The options of the style can vary from 3D Cartoons, Sketchy and Anime
- After selecting the style press done to save changes in the style
- To save the image, tap the save icon that is displayed in the upper right corner of the Pixel Studio
- Tap the upper-left corner to access your images and select the folder you want to save the image in
