Alphabet-owned Google is integrating top-notch apps in all its devices, as it aims to develop a noble kind of modern era, the Pixel Thermometer is an excellent example of those apps which recently received a significantly revamped user interface (UI) to use its Pixel 8 Pro, which was previously limited to few benefits.
The pre-installed Thermometer app available in the Pixel 8 Pro required you to click on the “Object Temperature” option which was later followed by a particular material type such as whose temperature you want to measure.
Now after receiving a big UI redesign, all you have to do is click on “Object temperature,” and then a "Routine measurements" section will appear, which will show you a common material type asking you to use a specific temperature sensor.

If in case, your desired object that you want to measure is not listed, then click on the "+" icon, present at the bottom to select from other material types.
Additionally, the search engine tech giant has also modified the temperature measurement interface, which efficiently utilises the primary camera to display the object whose temperature you desire to measure, and explains to you how to tailor the phone’s distance appropriately for enhanced insights.
Pixel Thermometer app now assists you in performing several tasks such as aching your baking, controlling your workspace, detecting rising temperature in your gadget to ensure safety, and more.
Pixel Thermometer's latest UI is likely to be Pixel 9 exclusive
According to the original reports, this latest UI overhaul is part of the latest Pixel Thermometer app, which doesn't seem to happen. Google is likely to keep this latest revamped app's latest UI exclusive to the Pixel 9 Pro Series for a particular period before integrating it into Pixel 8 Pro.
