
Poco recently unveiled the arrival of a new Poco F series without sharing details of its official launch. The sub-brand of Xiaomi is yet to officially announce the launch date of the new model, whereas the specifications have been revealed online.
It is expected that the new model will likely run on the newly released Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC processor. Moreover, it sports a 50MP Sony IMX882 sensor.
The device is likely to debut as a rebranded version of the unannounced Redmi Note 13 Turbo.
“Peridot”, the codename of the Poco smartphones, is expected to be the second handset to run on the latest Qualcomm chipset in the world. Earlier, the company released Civi 4 Pro as the first handset with a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset.
Furthermore, the reports suggested that the Poco F6 will sport a Sony IMX882 50MP main camera lens and an 8MP Sony IMX355 ultra wide-angle sensor, which is used in the Realme 12 Pro 5G and the iQoo Z9 5G. and the device will have the internal model number “N16T”.
Poco supported the display panels from TCL and Tianma on the Poco F6. However, the company has yet not discussed the display specifications.
Poco Global executive David Liu confirmed the existence of the Poco F6. It's expected that the device will debut in the market officially between April and May besides the Poco F6 Pro.
