Pokémon GO Fest 2024 will be arriving soon, along with a new Pokémon Fusion Feature, three new Shiny Pokémon and international, and city-dedicated events.
Moreover, the fest will unveil Necrozma, who arrives with two legendary shapes. Over 70 Pokémon will be unveiled during the event, including special costumed Pokémon, rewards, and much more.
Here are all the details, users need to remember about Pokémon GO Fest 2024.
Pokémon Go Fest 2024 start date
Pokémon GO Fest 2024 will occur over two days, commencing on July 13 between 10 am and 6 pm local time and on July 14 between 10 am and 6 pm local time. The event will commence in two parts; the first will look at in-person events in Sendai (Japan), Madrid (Spain), and the U.S. (New York City).
Pokémon GO in the second part will be visible for the users internationally, including rewards like Pokémon looks, raids with Espeon and Umbreon utilising supplements and Ultra Beasts.

Event rewards
All instructors will get underneath rewards during event hours.
- One-hour Lure Module duration
- Field Research themed around the different Pokémon habitats
- Surprise encounters in Go Snapshot, when clicking photographs during the event, you never know who might show up.
New Pokemon Variations and Shinys
These Pokémon were unveiled at the start of the event:
- Espeon - Day Scarf (Psychic-type)
- Umbreon - Night Scarf (Dark-type)
New Shiny Pokémon releasing with the event include:
- Espeon - Day Scarf (Psychic-type)
- Umbreon - Night Scarf (Dark-type)
- Jangmo-o (Dragon)
- Hakamo-o (Dragon/Fighting)
- Kommo-o (Dragon/Fighting)

Wild interactions
For all instructors, special Pokémon will be visible in four unique habitats, which will revolve hourly during the event:
- Dawn Meadow.
- Shining Day.
- Creeping Dusk.
- Darkest Night.
Raids
- One-Star Raids
- Three-Star Raids.
- Five-Star Raids.

Necrozma and Fusion release in Pokémon Go Fest 2024
Necrozma is the Prism Pokémon who will be first visible during raids in the fest. After acquiring the Pokémon, instructors can either fuse it with the legendary Sunne Pokemon, Solgaleo getting their Dusk Mane Necrozma or the legendary Moon Pokemon, Lunala which gets you Dawn Wings Necrozma.
However, these variations cannot be transferred to the Professor. Players can also encounter a Shiny one.
