ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of IT, Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA), and Universal Service Fund Pakistan (USF) have jointly launched National Roaming Services — a progressive initiative taken to ensure unperturbed connectivity across the Balochistan — along the Makran Coastal Highway.
On the sidelines of enhancing connectivity and being centred on one province, the project aims to facilitate and assist those impacted by inflation while jacking up employment opportunities.
Accruing from the collective efforts of USF, Jazz, and Ufone, the project was launched ahead of Pakistan's 77th Independence Day on August 14, in a ceremony held at PTA headquarters.

The ceremony was attended by State Minister for IT and Telecom Shaza Fatima, PTA Chairman Major General (R) Hafeez Ur Rahman, USF CEO Mr Mudassar Naveed, CEO Jazz Mr Aamir Ibrahim, Ufone representatives, and other PTA officials.
The programme is surely a significant step in improving Pakistan's rural communities, as the region is said to be a mine of talent in abundance, awaiting just technological advancement to flourish.
Kicked off at a cherishable occasion for the whole of the nation, the initiative is intended for the betterment of those in need and those who are often left out in the cold in remote areas with no share in government-backed programmes.
