Realme is gearing up to launch the Realme 12+ 5G in Malaysia later this month on February 29. The phone is also teased to launch later in the Indian market. Additionally, a tipster has provided a potential launch date for the handset's debut in India, suggesting it could happen alongside the introduction of another model, the Realme 12.
Gadgets360, citing tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore's (@Sudhanshu1414) post on X (formerly Twitter), reported that Realme is likely to reveal the Realme 12+ 5G and Realme 12 models in India on March 6 at midnight IST.
Realme 12+ 5G specifications
The leaked image shared by the tipster showcases the Realme 12+ 5G in beige and green faux leather finishes. It also reveals key specifications, including a MediaTek Dimensity 7050 SoC, a Sony LYT-600 OIS portrait camera, and a 120Hz Smooth AMOLED display. The leak suggests the phone will be available with configurations of up to 24GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage.

Recently, the retail box for the Indian variant of the Realme 12+ 5G was leaked, further indicating an imminent launch. Additionally, an official microsite for the upcoming handset is now live on the Realme India website, teasing the device with a green faux leather finish and an OIS-supported triple rear camera setup.
The design of the Realme 12+ 5G bears resemblance to the Realme 12 Pro 5G and Realme 12 Pro+ 5G models introduced in India. It features a vegan leather finish rear housing a large, circular rear camera module and a vertically running stitch-like line. Realme teases the phone to offer 12 upgrades touted as "unseen" previously in smartphone history.

While details about the Realme 12 model are limited, previous leaks have suggested that the Realme 12+ 5G may boast a 16MP selfie camera, and a triple rear camera setup comprising a 50MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultrawide sensor, and a 2MP macro shooter. The global variant may feature a 64-megapixel primary sensor.
Boasting a 6.7-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display, the device is expected to pack a 5,000mAh battery with support for 67W charging.
