Xiaomi has announced that its upcoming new smartphone, Redmi 14C 5G, will be launched on January 6, 2025, in India. The smartphone is set to have cutting-edge specs, offering an enhanced user experience.
The company confirmed via a post on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), with the product listing now live on Redmi India’s official website, displaying the smartphone's design and key features.
Notably, the Redmi 14C 5G will be the first smartphone to be launched in 2025 by Redmi. Moreover, Redmi 14C’s availability has been confirmed on Flipkart and Amazon.

Xiaomi confirmed that the Redmi 14C 5G will boast a "Starlight" design inspired by the cosmos, with three colour options: light blue, black, and a dual-tone design combining grey and dark blue.
The smartphone will support dual 5G SIM cards and include a 50MP primary camera with artificial intelligence (AI)-powered imaging features.
According to the reports, the Redmi 14C may be a rebranded version of the Redmi 14R launched in China in September. If this is accurate, it will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset and feature a 6.88-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1640x720 resolution.
The upcoming handset is claimed to come with a 5,160mAh battery supporting 18W fast charging.
It can be expected that the company will give out more details about the upcoming mid-range smartphone as it gets closer to the launch date.

Xiaomi has not yet revealed the pricing of the upcoming Redmi 14C 5G in the market.
