Xiaomi has launched the Redmi A4 5G, its new budget-friendly smartphone, in India on Wednesday.
The handset comes in Sparkle Purple and Starry Black colourways and customers can get it from Xiaomi’s official website and Amazon starting on November 27.
Redmi A4 5G specs
The Redmi A4 5G sports a 6.88-inch HD+ (720x1640 pixels) LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. The display size is slightly bigger compared to the 6.71-inch of the predecessor.
The device runs on Android 14-based HyperOS and will receive two years of OS updates and four years of security updates.

The Redmi A4 5G is equipped with a 4nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 chipset, paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage that can be expanded to 1TB using the MicroSD card.
The Redmi A4 5G is backed by a 5,160mAh battery and 18W charging support. The handset also features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication.

The Redmi A4 5G sports a 50MP primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture and an unspecified secondary camera. It also features a 5MP front camera for selfies with an f/2.2 aperture.
Redmi A4 5G price
The Redmi A4 5G with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage configuration is priced at INR 8,499. Whereas the 4GB RAM and 128GB storage variant is available for INR 9,499.
