Xiaomi has officially unveiled the Redmi Turbo 4 in China. It is the first smartphone powered by the flagship MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultra processor. This device boasts a range of cutting-edge features, including a massive 6,550mAh battery with a 90W wired charging capability, promising a smooth and intuitive user experience for tech enthusiasts.

Redmi Turbo 4 specifications

The Redmi Turbo 4 features a spacious 6.77-inch LTPS OLED display with a 1220p resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, delivering vibrant visuals and seamless motion. The display has an impressive 3,200 nits peak brightness and is protected by Gorilla Glass 7i.

For optics, the device is equipped with a 50MP primary rear camera featuring a Sony LYT-600 sensor (1/1.95”) and optical image stabilisation (OIS). The secondary camera is an 8MP ultrawide lens, perfect for landscape and group shots. 

In addition, it houses a 20MP (OV20B) front camera, housed in a punch-hole cutout. The device also includes an optical in-display fingerprint scanner, making it a perfect choice for selfie enthusiasts. 

The Redmi Turbo 4 runs on Xiaomi HyperOS 2, based on Android 15, offering an enhanced user experience with seamless app performance. It is rated with IP66, IP68, and IP69 certifications, making it resistant to dust and water. 

The device is offered in three tantalising colours: Black, white, and sea blue, adding an aesthetic appeal to its design.

Redmi Turbo 4 pricing and availability

The Redmi Turbo 4 is priced at CNY 1,999 (approx $273) for the 12/256GB variant, while the 12/512GB version is priced at CNY 2,299 (approx $315). The 16/512GB storage configuration is available for CNY 2,499 (approx $342). It is currently available for open sale in China through Xiaomi's official channels.

The Redmi Turbo 4 is expected to launch globally as the Poco X7 Pro on January 9.
