Samsung's renowned The Frame TV has captured significant acclaim for its ability to seamlessly blend into home decor, diverging from the conventional black rectangles that characterise typical televisions.

With customisable bezels, including elegant wood options, a matte screen, and an extensive collection of esteemed artwork displayed when idle, The Frame pulls off a dual role as both a design piece and a television, appealing to those seeking a TV that doesn't overtly resemble a piece of technology.

In a move to expand The Frame's offerings for 2024, Samsung is introducing the new Music Frame, which diverges from the TV concept altogether and serves as a music speaker. Comparable to the Sonos/Ikea Symfonisk frame speaker, the Music Frame features a customisable front print and aims to seamlessly merge into its environment.

Measuring 12.9 x 12.9 inches, the Music Frame is notably smaller than the Symfonisk speaker and is designed to resemble a modern picture frame, blending into surroundings by showcasing art or photography. Samsung's press release highlights its built-in woofers and intelligent audio processing, promising a premium audio experience. Additionally, employing Q-Symphony technology, the speaker delivers surround sound when paired with 2024 Samsung TVs and soundbars or can function as a standalone wireless speaker.

Equipped with two woofers, two tweeters, two mid-range drivers, and waveguides to disperse sound comprehensively within a room, the Music Frame operates in both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth modes. Notably, a slender power cable must be discreetly run down the wall to connect to an outlet.

While Samsung has yet to disclose pricing details, considering the Sonos / Ikea frame speaker costs $259.99, it is anticipated that the new Music Frame will debut alongside Samsung's upcoming TV and home theater lineup in the spring.
